Q: How is Gelato
different from regular ice cream?
A: Gelato is a more dense product than standard ice cream.
There is less whipped air in gelato. Gelato is
typically served at a higher temperature than ice cream.
When you taste gelato, you will notice that the density,
combined with the faster melting time, leaves a much more
intense flavor in your mouth. Plus, gelato, being made
with milk instead of heavy cream, is much lower in fat than
premium ice cream. So on a side-by-side comparison,
with gelato you get more flavor, better consistency, and a
healthier product. In our opinion, this beats the
pants off of any ice cream on the market. Finally, we
make our gelato fresh on site, so you don't have to wonder
how long it's been in packing, shipping, or storage at a
regional or local distributor, or a store.
